Europe biofuels and chemicals barge MOC dates for Christmas, New Year holidays 2025

Please note that, effective Dec. 22, Dec. 23 and Dec. 24, 2025, Platts will publish bids, offers and trades in its Market on Close assessment process for biofuels and chemicals barges that load seven to 15 days forward, not the usual three-to-15/five-to-15 days forward range.

The full details for each day can be seen below:

• On Dec. 22, MOC will be Dec. 29-Jan. 6, 2026 (FE dates: Dec. 29-Jan. 2; MW dates: Dec. 31-Jan. 4; BE dates: Jan. 2-6)
• On Dec. 23, MOC dates will be Dec. 30-Jan. 7, 2026 (FE dates: Dec. 30-Jan. 3; MW dates: Jan. 1-5; BE dates: Jan. 3-7)
• On Dec. 24, MOC dates will be Dec. 31-Jan. 8, 2026 (FE dates: Dec. 31-Jan. 4; MW dates: Jan. 2-6; BE dates: Jan. 4-8)

In addition, on Dec. 29, Platts will publish bids, offers and trades in its MOC for biofuels and chemical barges that load four to 15 days forward, not the usual three-to-15/five-to-15 days forward range.

• On Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, Platts will publish bids, offers and trades in its MOC for refined product barges that load six to 15 days forward, not the usual three-to-15/five-to-15 days forward range. Please note that the assessment remains unchanged.

• On Dec. 30, MOC dates will be Jan. 5-14, 2026 (FE dates: Jan. 5-9; MW dates: Jan. 7-11; BE dates: Jan. 10-14)
• On Dec. 31, MOC dates will be Jan. 6-15, 2026 (FE dates: Jan. 6-10; MW dates: Jan. 8-12; BE dates: Jan. 11-15)
• On Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, all European biofuels and chemicals assessments will be basis 12:30 London time, with all cut-offs and timings commensurate with a close at that time.
