Following a review of additional feedback, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has lowered the minimum greenhouse gas savings requirement for its sustainable aviation fuel FOB FARAG barge assessments from 85% to 80%, effective Oct 28. Bids, offers and trades for SAF reflecting other GHG savings levels may be considered for the assessments but normalized to the minimum basis level of 80%.
The update impacts the following Platts assessments:

Platts launched these market-based SAF price assessments on Sept. 2, in a subscriber note available here: Platts launches daily market-based European sustainable aviation fuel FOB FARAG barge assessment | S&P Global Commodity Insights.
The assessments can be found in the Biofuelscan, European Marketscan, on the Platts Biofuels Alert service and Platts Refined Products Alert service.
