Platts clarifies USAC light ends cargo basis

Platts assesses the US Atlantic Coast gasoline cargo market on an inside-duty basis, inclusive of import duties and Renewable Identification Number (RINS) credits.

The value of RINS credits is derived from the RINS calendar-year assessments published by Platts.

Platts also assesses the US Atlantic Coast distillate cargo market on an inside-duty basis. This has been the practice in the Platts USAC gasoline and distillate cargo assessment process.
