Platts clarifies publishing schedule for minerals and fertilizers assessments, PDFs between Christmas and New Year

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has clarified its publishing schedule for Platts Fertecon price assessments and PDF reports between Christmas and New Year.

On Dec. 25, 2025, and Jan. 1, 2026, in observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, all S&P Global Commodity Insights' offices will be closed.

In addition, UK offices will be closed Dec. 26, 2025, for the Boxing Day holiday.

In view of this, weekly assessments and PDF reports typically published each Thursday will be produced on 16:30 Penang, 12:30 London, and 16:30 Sao Paulo timestamps a day early on Dec. 24.

On Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, the Platts Fertecon Daily PDF will also be published with prices assessed on 16:30 Penang, 12:30 London, and 16:30 Sao Paulo timestamps.

A traditional break – also in line with Platts publication practices in the related Chemicals market – in publishing weekly and bi-weekly Platts Fertecon assessments and PDF reports between Christmas and New Year will also be observed, affecting the following publications:

• Ammonia Market Report
• Cement Weekly
• European Fertilizer Report
• Nitrogen Market Report
• Phosphate Market Report
• Potash Market Report
• Sulphur Market Report
• Sulphuric Acid Market Report

Only the following calculated weekly ammonia and urea assessments, which reflect the lowest and highest of the associated daily assessments published over the course of the preceding week, will be published Dec. 31 at 16:30 Penang, 12:30 London, and 16:30 Sao Paulo timestamps.

The publishing of all other weekly and bi-weekly assessments and all weekly and bi-weekly PDF reports will resume week commencing Jan. 5, 2026.

These aforementioned calculated weekly assessments will be generated, where relevant, using daily assessments produced according to the revised daily publishing schedule set out below.

Platts will continue to publish daily ammonia and urea assessments on Penang, London and Sao Paulo timestamps and the Platts Fertecon Daily PDF during the festive period, except on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On Dec. 26, daily ammonia and urea assessments following the London publishing calendar will not be published, but a Platts Fertecon Daily PDF report containing daily assessments with Penang and Sao Paulo timestamps will be published.
