Platts proposes to discontinue Middle East Marker (MEM) LNG assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is proposing to discontinue publishing its daily Middle East Marker (MEM) LNG price assessments, associated monthly average prices and related differentials, effective Jan. 4, 2027.
The proposal reflects limited spot market liquidity and trading activity supporting LNG cargo deliveries into the Middle East.
The affected assessments are currently published in LNG Daily, Platts LNG Alert pages 1810 and 1811, Platts Natural Gas Alert pages 1040 and 1041, and under the price database codes below:
