Platts to discontinue natural gas price locations in the Rocky Mountains region

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue four natural gas price locations in the Rocky Mountain region. Northwest, Wyoming Pool (IGBDA03), Northwest, S. of Green River (IGBYT03) and Kern River, Wyoming (IGBCL03) monthly indexes, and the Northwest, Rocky Mountain Pool (IGBRW00) daily index.

The monthly indexes will be discontinued starting with the March 2025 edition of the Inside FERC Gas Market Report First of Month, and the final values for the monthly indexes will be published in the Feb. 1 2025 edition of the First of Month report.

The daily index will be discontinued starting with next-day trading on March 28, 2025, for delivery on April 1, 2025.

The decision follows a proposal period in which Platts has gathered feedback from market participants.
