Platts clarifies publishing schedule for minerals and fertilizers assessments, PDFs between Christmas and New Year

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has updated the publishing schedule for Platts fertilizer price assessments and PDF reports during the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

S&P Global Energy offices will be closed on Dec. 25, 2026, and Jan. 1, 2027. UK offices will also be closed on Dec. 28. In view of this, weekly assessments and PDF reports normally published on Thursday will be published at the applicable Penang, London and São Paulo timestamps. The Platts Fertecon Daily PDF will be published on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, using assessments published at the applicable timestamps. No weekly or biweekly reports will be published between Christmas and New Year, except for the calculated weekly ammonia and urea assessments described below.

On Dec. 31, only calculated weekly ammonia and urea assessments reflecting the lowest and highest associated daily assessments from the preceding week will be published. Other weekly ammonia and urea assessments, along with weekly nitrates, phosphates, potash, sulfur, and cement assessments, will not be published.

Daily ammonia and urea assessments and the Platts Fertecon Daily PDF will continue during the holiday period, except on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. On Dec. 28, London-calendar daily assessments will not be published, although the Daily PDF will include Penang- and São Paulo-timestamped assessments.

Normal publication of weekly and biweekly assessments and PDF reports will resume during the week of Jan. 4, 2027.
