Platts discontinues JKM-NWE balance-month next-day differential assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has discontinued publishing its LNG DES Japan Korea Marker (JKM) Financial Balance-Month Next-Day versus LNG DES Northwest Europe (NWE) Financial Balance-Month Next-Day differential assessment, effective Sept. 30.

The final publication date for this assessment was Sept. 29. This decision, announced Sept. 18 in a subscriber note available here, followed changes to the publication schedule and roll methodology for the underlying LNG derivative assessments.

The affected assessment previously appeared in LNG Daily and on the fixed page LNG1822.
