Platts proposes to change CFR North Africa polystyrene timing specifications

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes revising the timing specification for CFR North Africa general purpose and high impact polystyrene spot assessments to 15-45 days delivered forward from the day of publication, effective Nov. 18.

The proposed change would better reflect current market practice across North African polymer markets and would align the delivery period specification for North African polystyrene assessments with other North African polymer assessments.

The following assessments would be affected:
