Platts changes frequency of CFR SE Asia MMA and Asia PMMA spot assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has changed the publication frequency of its existing CFR Southeast Asia methyl methacrylate and Asia polymethyl methacrylate spot assessments to weekly, effective Sept. 29.

A proposal outlining the frequency change was published here on July 3, followed by a note communicating the change on July 24, available here.

The change is intended to better reflect market dynamics and typical trading behaviors for these products while incorporating market feedback. It forms part of Platts' broader review of its Asian MMA/PMMA coverage, which includes the launch of a new weekly FOB China MMA assessment to capture evolving regional trade flows and market activity.

Under the revised publication schedule, the CFR Southeast Asia MMA price and Asia PMMA assessments will be published every Tuesday and follow the Singapore publication calendar. The related weekly averages will be discontinued, effective Sept. 30.
