Platts launches weekly PP homopolymer injection, PP raffia CIF ARA spot price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched weekly CIF ARA spot assessments for homopolymer injection grade polypropylene and raffia grade polypropylene, effective Sept. 23.
The new assessments provide greater transparency into the growing European polypropylene import market and complement the existing domestic European polypropylene price assessments.

The assessments take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4.30 pm Wednesday London time, including firm bids and offers, trades and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process.
The weekly assessments appear alongside the existing weekly commentaries and rationales for European polypropylene in Polymerscan and on S&P Global Energy Core, as well as on the fixed page PCA0239.
