Platts proposes to change the frequency of Turkish R-PET light blue flakes spot price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is proposing to change the frequency of the recycled polyethylene terephthalate light blue flakes ex-works Turkey spot price assessment from weekly to daily, effective Nov. 26, 2026, to better align with global R-PET coverage and reflect market activity.

The proposed changes would impact the following price assessment:

Under the proposal, the existing weekly symbol [PBLET04] would become daily and a new weekly average symbol would be launched and published on Wednesdays.

Pricing information with terms, locations and specifications different from the above standard may be considered for assessment purposes, subject to normalization.

These assessments appear on S&P Global Energy Core and in Polymerscan and Sustainable Polymerscan.
