Platts proposes to discontinue FOB Baltic Ammonia assessments, effective Jan. 4

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes to discontinue its FOB Baltic ammonia assessments, effective Jan. 4, 2027.

The proposal is due to the cessation of FOB trade in the Baltic since 2022 and a shift in exports from Russia to markets like CFR Turkey, [FAMMC00].

Under the proposal, the daily Ammonia FOB Baltic [AFBBD00], daily monthly average [AFBBD03] and weekly Ammonia FOB Baltic [FABAB04] prices and weekly monthly average [FABAB03] would be discontinued.

The assessments appear in Platts Core, the Fertecon Daily, the Ammonia Market Report and the Platts price database.
