Platts opens consultation on market-based hydrogen assessments

Platts, part of S&P Commodity Insights, has opened a consultation on its coverage of the hydrogen market and welcomes market feedback on how to best reflect this space through market-based assessments.

Platts has observed strong interest in a market-based price assessment for hydrogen, as this nascent market continues to evolve and mature.

Platts is requesting feedback on the typical specifications for the long-term contracting of hydrogen in Europe.

Platts is considering the following options:
