Platts proposes to discontinue Marine Fuel LNG bunker $/mt (Oil) assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to discontinue publishing its daily price assessments of Marine Fuel LNG Bunker $/mt (oil) for Singapore, US Southeast Coast, and Rotterdam, effective Dec. 15, 2023.

Platts is proposing this discontinuation to simplify its data offerings, as $/mt (LNG) conversion exists for all three assessments.

Marine Fuel LNG bunker assessment $/mt (oil) indicates the value of LNG to get the same calorific value as 1 mt of Marine Fuel 0.5%S.

The affected assessments appear in LNG Daily, Bunkerwire, Platts LNG Alert pages 860, Platts Natural Gas Alert pages 860, and under the price database codes below:
