SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts backdates NWE PX July 2014 CP assessments

Platts has backdated the monthly contract price for European paraxylene in July 2014. The July contract settled in August at Eur995/mt FD Northwest Europe.

Platts will imminently launch a proposal to calculate a contract price assessment in the event that a monthly contract fails to settle promptly following the contractual month of delivery. This approach would supersede the need to backdate values.
