Platts reminds subscribers of guidelines around publication days and national holidays

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 8, Platts would like to remind subscribers that its Europe and Africa commodity assessments made in London follow the UK's national holiday calendar.

That includes any national holidays inserted into the typical calendar by the UK government.

Should the UK government add a national holiday to the calendar, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will issue a subscriber note to clarify non-publishing dates in a timely manner.

More broadly and as per Platts methodology, dates of publication and the assessment periods are subject to change in the event of outside circumstances that affect Platts ability to adhere to its normal publication schedule.

Such circumstances include network outages, power failures, acts of terrorism, pandemics, and other situations that result in an interruption in Platts global operations.

In the event that any such circumstance occurs, Platts will endeavor, whenever feasible, to communicate publicly any changes to its publication schedule and assessment periods, with as much advance notice as possible.

Further details in the published holiday schedule can be found at: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/holiday, which includes a list of affected publications.

Please send all feedback, comments or questions to Europe_Products@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.

For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing.

Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
