Platts clarifies Cold Filter Plugging Point specifications for renewable diesel (HVO) FOB FARAG premium and outright assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, wishes to clarify the Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) limits for its FOB FARAG renewable diesel (HVO) premium and outright assessments.
Platts FOB FARAG renewable diesel barge assessments reflect bids, offers, and trades of material with a CFPP requirement of a maximum of minus 10 degrees Celsius. Platts understands material meeting such cold properties requirements to be the most fungible specification traded in Northwest Europe.

Bids, trades and offers of renewable diesel with a differing CFPP may be normalized and considered for the assessment, where verifiable pricing spreads and market indications can be applied.
