US Labor Day, Brazil Independence Day holiday publishing schedule for Americas metals
The US and Brazil offices of Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of the US Labor Day and Brazil Independence Day holidays, respectively.
As a result, the US aluminum transaction premium will have a value published based on the value assessed on the last working day prior to the holiday. No other US metals assessments will be published.
US aluminum alloys/scrap and tin will be assessed on Sept 8. No prices based on NYMEX/COMEX will be published.
Weekly Brazilian ferrous and non-ferrous scrap assessments will be published on Sept. 8. Daily Brazilian export ferrous scrap assessments will not be published. No Latin America lithium assessments will be published.
Steel Price Report will not be published. Steel Business Briefing and Steel Markets Daily will be published without US and Brazil assessments. Metals Daily will be published without US assessments and Latin America lithium assessments.
Normal US publishing schedules will resume on Sept. 8.
