Platts includes Hydradd CFI 2700 cold flow improver in Singapore gasoil

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has included Hydradd CFI 2700 cold flow improver by Scandinavian Oil Services in the FOB Singapore gasoil assessment process, effective Aug. 25.

Platts understands that Hydradd CFI 2700 cold flow improver is a relabeled version of Clariant cold flow improver Dodiflow 3905, an additive that has been reflected in the FOB Singapore gasoil assessment process since Oct. 16, 2017.

Platts informed the market of the inclusion of the gasoil additive in a subscriber note published July 23.

The list of Platts-recognized gasoil additives is intended to provide clarity to market participants regarding which additives are generally considered merchantable and accepted for cargoes delivered through the Platts Market on Close assessment process in Singapore.

Platts does not align its FOB Singapore additives acceptance standards with those of any particular importing country.
