Platts to host Asia ethanol methodology workshop Sept. 8 at APPEC in Singapore

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will host a complimentary in-person technical workshop on Asia ethanol methodology at APPEC in Singapore to discuss the evolving ethanol landscape in the region as part of its ongoing consultation on the methodology.

The workshop will take place on Sept. 8 at the Moor Room, Level 4, Raffles City Convention Centre, from 12:45 pm to 2:20 pm Singapore Time.

The workshop will examine the possibility of developing an Asia ethanol benchmark, the evolution of trade flows and potential implications on the Platts Asian ethanol assessments.

The following will be covered during the workshop:

• Feedstocks and fuels: Supplying the new APAC ethanol markets
• Platts MOC and global ethanol benchmarks
• Prices and trade flows: Platts Asia ethanol
• Developing an Asia ethanol benchmark
• FOB Singapore MOGAS pricing and market updates

The technical workshop will be held under Chatham House rules and is a good opportunity to share feedback, ask questions and interact with the Platts editorial team.
