Platts clarifies moisture, impurities specification for premium UCO FOB China assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is clarifying the moisture and impurities (MIU) specification for its premium used cooking oil FOB China assessment.

Platts clarifies that the premium UCO FOB Nantong, China assessment, launched on July 1, reflects a maximum MIU of 2%. The specification is in line with market feedback and typical specifications of premium UCO cargoes exported from China.
