Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes to update the specifications of FOB Vancouver standard (FKCIB04) and granular (FKCIM04) muriate of potash (MOP) price assessments, effective Sept. 15, 2026.
The amendments are intended to better reflect potash market dynamics in the Americas region. The proposed specification changes are detailed below:

These assessments are currently published on Energy Core, in the Platts Fertecon Potash Market Report and on the fixed page FEA0101. The prices are assessed on Tuesdays at 1630 São Paulo time and follow the São Paulo publishing schedule.
