Platts to change published unit of measurement of renewable diesel premiums in Biofuelscan, Biomass-Based Diesel Report from Aug. 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will publish its European renewable diesel premium assessments over the Platts FOB ARA ULSD Barge price in $/cubic meter in both the daily Biofuelscan publication and the weekly Biomass-Based Diesel Report, effective Aug. 3, 2026.

The change will better reflect the European spot market and the frequency of market indications received by Platts, which are expressed in $/cubic meter over the Platts FOB ARA ULSD Barge price.

As a result, Platts RD-A FOB FARAG Premium $/cubic meter (ANEWG00) and Platts RD-B FOB FARAG Premium $/cubic meter (ANEWH00) will be published in Biofuelscan and the Biomass Diesel Report from Aug. 3.

The existing premiums in $/mt will no longer appear in the publications, but will continue to be calculated and published under the symbols ANEWC00 for the RD-A FOB FARAG Premium $/mt, and ANEWD00 for the RD-B FOB FARAG Premium $/mt.

The specifications of the assessments will remain unchanged.

The assessments are published on pages PBF1010, PBF1012 and PBF1013.
