Platts rolls UK Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin assessment compliance periods, July 2

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has rolled the compliance period dates for its UK Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin assessments (REGOs), effective July 2, 2026.

Platts changed the rollover date to July 2 in 2025 details of which can be found here .

As a result, the current compliance period for REGOs will expire on July 1 of the current year and roll to the next compliance period on July 2. This reflects the trading of REGOs until they are counted by Ofgem for the Fuel Mix Disclosure.

Effective July 2, 2026, Platts current CP assessments reflect REGOs produced between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
