Platts corrects monthly average history data for Transco, Station 65 and Transco, Station 165

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has corrected historical monthly average data for US natural gas pricing locations Transco, Station 65 and Transco, Station 165, from June 2023 and July 2024, respectively, to the present.

For both Transco, Station 65 and Transco, Station 165, prior to the correction, the monthly average of daily flow-date prices for a given month was published with an assessment date aligning with the first day of that same month, rather than the first day of the following month.

Platts has corrected this in the historical data and going forward by adjusting the assessment dates of the monthly averages for each location to align with the first day of the following month.

The correction applies to the final monthly averages, the final monthly average deal counts, and the preliminary monthly averages for both locations.
