Platts amends flat rates for Baltic-UKC dirty tanker assessments July 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has amended the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in $/metric ton calculations for its Baltic-UKC dirty tanker assessments, effective July 1, following the June 4 Worldscale Association update (circular no. 39) to port fees for Ventspils. Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments are:

Dirty Baltic-UKC 30kt: $10.46/mt

Dirty Baltic-UKC 30kt: TDADU00, TDADU03

The affected assessments appear in Platts Dirty Tankerwire, on Platts Shipping Alert page, 1430 and 1431 and Platts Tanker Alert pages 1960, 1961, as well as in the Platts price database under the codes above.
