Effective July 1, 2016, Platts has changed the language used in the methodology guide to describe the process used in assessing crude palm oil futures trading on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives. It no longer makes reference to "second month" palm oil futures, instead referring to "front-month."
Platts has also provided further clarification in its methodology guide about the timing of rollover periods from one contract month to the next.
