Platts proposes to discontinue 24 European fertilizer price assessments Sep 24

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes to discontinue 24 European fertilizer prices, effective Sept. 24, 2026.

The discontinuation is in response to declining product usage, shifts in trade flows, including evidence of changing end-user preference to other products, and illiquidity or limited market participants.

As the market continues to evolve, Platts will consider the most relevant and liquid markets, as evidenced by Platts trade flow software, and market feedback.

Platts will continue assessing comparable markets for the affected products that better reflect market activity.
