Platts to discontinue BRL-USD forex rate assessed at Mexico City time, July 8

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will discontinue the BRL-USD spot forex rate (BRLUA00) assessed at 3:30 pm Mexico City time, effective July 8, 2026.

Platts will continue to assess USD/BRL forex rates against other timestamps, including at 1630 (USDBR00) and 1700 (USDBL00) São Paulo time.

Platts initially proposed this discontinuation in a subscriber note published June 3, 2026.
