Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will amend the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in $/metric ton calculations for its Baltic-UKC dirty tanker assessments, effective July 1, 2026, following the recent Worldscale Association update (circular no.39) to port fees for Ventspils, dated June 4, 2026.
Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments will be:
Dirty Baltic-UKC 30,000 mt: $10.46/mt
Please refer to the Worldscale website for more information on these updates.
The affected assessments are:
Assessment: Daily Code, MAvg Code
Dirty Baltic-UKC 30,000 mt: TDADU00, TDADU03
The affected assessments appear in Platts Dirty Tankerwire; on Platts Shipping Alert page, 1430 and 1431 and Platts Tanker Alert pages 1960, 1961; as well as in the Platts price database under the codes above.
