Platts to change frequency of several Texas, New Jersey and PJM US Renewable Energy Certificates assessments to daily, July 1
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will change the frequency of several US Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) price assessments from weekly to daily, effective July 1, 2026.
Platts initially proposed the change on May 18 in a subscriber note available here .
The assessments will move from a weekly to a daily frequency to reflect greater market liquidity. As a result, Platts will also change the assessments' description as highlighted in the table below.
The assessments that will move to daily are as follows:

The assessments will be published daily at 1:30 pm Central Time and will follow the US holiday calendar.
The assessments currently appear in the fixed pages CLE3200, PEA0750, EVA3005, AGP2750, as well as in REC Daily and Megawatt Daily.
