Platts proposes to change frequency of several US Renewable Energy Certificates assessments from weekly to daily, July 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes to change the frequency of several US Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) price assessments from weekly to daily, effective July 1, 2026.

Platts is proposing to move five prices to a daily frequency to provide more transparency to the market and to better reflect liquidity:

• Texas non-Solar REC Next Year Vintage
• Texas Green-e Eligible Wind REC Current Year Vintage FH
• Texas Green-e Eligible Wind REC Current Year Vintage BH
• New Jersey REC Class 1 Current Year Vintage
• PJM Tri-Qualified REC Tier 1 Current Year Vintage

The symbols that would be impacted are as follows:

The assessments would be published daily at 1:30 pm Central Time and following the US holiday calendar.

The assessments appear in the fixed pages CLE3200, PEA0750, EVA3005, AGP2750, as well as in the REC Daily and Megawatt Daily reports.
