Platts clarifies increments for MTBE eWindow tool

Platts clarifies that effective May 21 its eWindow communication tool for US Gulf Coast MTBE reflects increments of 25,000 barrels after the minimum 25,000 barrels is reached and a maximum of 100,000 barrels per order. This is based on previous MOC activity and observed market standard.

The methodology remains unchanged with minimum 25,000 barrels. After a minimum 25,000 barrels, Platts may publish volumes at any increment manually if buyers/sellers wish to publish outside of the 25,000 increment range.
