Platts to launch US MMA spot assessment May 22

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch daily DDP US Gulf Coast methyl methacrylate spot assessment, effective May 22.

The daily assessment will complement Platts' existing CFR China and DDP Northwest Europe assessments.

The details of the assessment are as follows:

Purity 99.80%
Color APHA Max 10 Hazen
Water content Max 0.05%
Inhibitor 10-20 ppm
Laycan 3-30 days forward
Basis and location DDP US Gulf Coast
Quantity 20-25 mt
UoM Cents/lb

The assessment will take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 1:30 pm Central time, including firm bids and offers, trades and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process.
