Platts launches 16 new cement, clinker, SCMs and freight assessments May 7

As part of its drive to bring greater transparency to the cement market, Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched a broader suite of weekly assessments for cement, clinker, freight and supplementary cementitious materials, or SCMs, effective May 7, 2026.

Platts has launched the following new assessments for cement, clinker, GBFS and freight:

Alongside these launches, Platts has also amended the assessment name of FOB Turkey Clinker (ACEMA00) to CLX (FOB Turkey Clinker).

The price assessments appear on the Core web platform and in the following Platts reports: Cement Weekly, Coal Trader, Coal Trader International, Steel Price Report and Steel Raw Materials Monthly.
