Platts discontinues 2025 Netherlands HBE assessments May 1
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has discontinued its previous-year (2025) Netherlands HBE assessments, effective May 1, 2026.
The discontinuation is due to the Netherlands switching from the renewable energy units, or HBE, scheme to a carbon emissions reduction model, or ERE, from January 2026.
This follows a decision published here on Aug. 27 and a proposal published here on July 25, 2025.
Details of the discontinued assessments are as follows.
