Platts amends Netherlands ERE volume from April 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has amended the volume range to 2 million to 10 million units for its Netherlands emission reduction units (emissiereductie-eenheden, or ERE) price assessments, effective April 1, 2026.

The Platts ERE assessments previously reflected a volume range of 1 million to 4 million units. Following market feedback, Platts has updated the volume range to 2 to 10 million units. Volumes outside of these may be considered and normalized to the basis range.

The assessments are published in Platts Biofuelscan, the weekly Biomass-Based Diesel Report, the weekly Ethanol Report, Carbon Markets Daily, Platts Connect, PBF1010, PBF1012, PBF1014 and PBF1015 and follow a UK publishing schedule.

This change was initially proposed Feb. 17 and was confirmed March 4.
