Platts to start publishing Brazil refined product postings from Petrobras April 1
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will start publishing Brazilian refined product posted prices from state-owned integrated oil company Petrobras for both A-grade gasoline and A-grade S10 diesel, effective April 1.
Petrobras is the main fuel supplier in Brazil. It owns 10 refineries in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions, with a capacity to process around 1.85 million b/d, producing gasoline, diesel, LPGs, fuel oil, among others.
These posted prices will be published in Brazilian real per cubic meter whenever Petrobras updates its tables. They will be available on page 1710 of Platts Global Alert and Platts Refined Products Alert, and in market reports including Platts Brazil Fuels Weekly and its Portuguese-language counterpart Platts Combustíveis Brasil — Semanal.

A-grade fuels are how gasoline and diesel are defined in Brazil by the National Petroleum Agency, ANP, before the mandatory blend with biofuels. S10 indicates ultra low sulfur diesel, with a maximum 10 ppm sulfur.
