Platts changes incrementability for European MTBE, ETBE MOC March 23

Effective immediately, Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has changed the maximum price increments for bids and offers in the March 23 MTBE FOB ARA (PHALA00), ETBE FOB AR (AASLQ00), and ETBE FOB AR Spread to MTBE FOB ARA (AASLQ02) Platts Market on Close assessment processes to $2/metric ton per 20 seconds.

This change replaces the standard maximum of $1/mt per 20 seconds and applies to the March 23 MOC only.

This is a temporary change due to high market volatility arising from ship transit issues via the Strait of Hormuz.

Platts reserves the right to change incrementability guidelines in the MOC throughout the day, depending on evolving market conditions.

This change applies to European MTBE and ETBE markets.
