Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has deleted 80,000 metric ton Vancouver-China assessments published on Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. The deletion created a correction in the monthly averages published for February for the two codes.
The assessments were erroneously published on two holidays observed by the Singapore office. The assessment follows both the Singapore and Houston publishing schedules.
The impacted assessments read as follows:
| Symbol | Description |
| TVBCA00 | Dirty Vancouver-China Aframax 80kt Lumpsum |
| TVBCB00 | Dirty Vancouver-China Aframax 80kt $/mt |
As a result, the following monthly averages have been corrected as follows:
| Symbol | Description | Corrected Value |
| TVBCA03 | Dirty Vancouver-China Aframax 80kt Lumpsum MAvg | 3.44 |
| TVBCB03 | Dirty Vancouver-China Aframax 80kt $/mt MAvg | 43.01 |
The assessments are published in the Platts Dirty Tankerwire, Platts Dirty Tankerwire Monthly and on Platts Shipping Alert and Platts Tanker Alert pages SHP2430, SHP2431, PGT1962 and PGT1963.
