Platts updates Mexico natural gas transportation rates

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has updated the natural gas transportation rates used in the calculation of the Mexico daily natural gas prices, effective March 16.

Platts used current rates in pipeline tariffs for the transportation routes, the March 2026 bidweek prices for the Tennessee, zone 0, Waha, and SoCal Gas source locations, and the March 9, 2026, Mexican peso to US dollar spot exchange rate. The updated natural gas pipeline transportation rates feed into the symbols below, which represent the full transport cost for each Mexico location, and are used in the calculation for the daily fully loaded price.
