Platts LME Close, Metals Daily data impacted by LME technical issue

Due to a technical issue that temporarily suspended London Metal Exchange electronic trading on March 16, 2026, Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, did not receive certain LME data in time to include in both daily print publications and for some daily all-in price calculations.

The metals impacted by the temporary electronic trading suspension included aluminum, copper, zinc and cobalt. The data appears in publications including Platts Metals Daily London/LME Close, Platts Metals Daily, on Platts fixed pages and in the Platts pricing database.

Platts will publish all impacted data as soon as it becomes available and republish impacted print publications.
