Platts changes incrementability for European MTBE and ETBE Market on Close March 11

Effective immediately, Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has changed the maximum price increments for bids and offers in the March 11 MTBE FOB ARA (PHALA00), ETBE FOB AR (AASLQ00) and ETBE FOB AR Spread to MTBE FOB ARA (AASLQ02) Platts Market on Close assessment processes to $2/metric tons per 20 seconds.

This change replaces the standard maximum $1/mt per 20 seconds and is applicable for the March 11 MOC only.

This is a temporary change due to the high volatility in the market arising from ship transit issues via the Strait of Hormuz.

Platts reserves the right to change incrementability guidelines in the MOC throughout the day, depending on evolving market conditions.

This change applies to European MTBE and ETBE markets.
