Platts reviewing Middle East freight assessment publication

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is reviewing its methodology and ability to publish Middle East freight assessments amid shipping disruptions in the Persian Gulf following the conflict in the Middle East.

This includes benchmark Clean Arab Gulf-Japan LR1 55kt (PFAEY10).

Platts continues to seek feedback on shipping restrictions and their impact to the market and will send a later update on March 2.
