Platts updates monthly average publication date of four global ferrous assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will update the publication day for monthly averages of its daily Platts Shredded Scrap CFR Nhava Sheva, Steel Rebar FOB Turkey, Platts TSI HMS ½ 80:20 CFR Turkey and Platts TSI US HRC EXW Indiana, to the last business day of the month, effective Feb. 27, 2026.

The change will only pertain to the publication date and does not impact the value of the monthly average calculations.

The affected monthly averages, which currently publish on the first business day of the following month, are as follows:

The monthly averages are published in the Platts price database, on fixed pages STL1354, STL1360, STL1362, PMA1354, PMA1360 and PMA1362, and in Steel Markets Daily and Steel Raw Materials.
