Platts to discontinue several foreign exchange symbols, May 4

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will discontinue four foreign exchange price assessments, effective May 4, 2025.

Platts will discontinue its daily foreign exchange price assessments, which were being used in Middle East cost-based hydrogen assessments that were discontinued on Dec. 9 .

The discontinuation was proposed on Feb. 9.

The discontinuation would apply to the following assessments:

Symbol Assessment Description

UAEDR00 AED-USD at 16:30 Singapore

SRERA00 SAR-USD at 16:30 Singapore

QRERA00 QAR-USD at 16:30 Singapore

ORERA00 OMR-USD at 16:30 Singapore
