Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, proposes to launch three new daily price assessments for frozen poultry delivered into the Middle East, effective April 1, 2026.
The proposed launch reflects sustained import demand and active spot trading of frozen poultry into the Middle East, alongside market feedback requesting transparent, clearly defined CIF reference prices to support contract negotiations and market analysis.

The assessments would reflect a 16:30 London timestamp and follow the Platts London publishing schedule. Monthly averages would also be published.
The assessments would consider market information reported to Platts and published as heards throughout the day, including firm bids and offers, trades, indicative values and any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process.
