Platts proposes new M3 FOB ARA styrene spot price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is proposing to launch a new Free on Board, FOB, Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp, ARA, styrene monomer price assessment to reflect loading during the third month from the date of publication (M3), effective March 23, 2026.

The assessment's specifications and terms would mirror those of the existing M1 and M2 assessments. The M3 assessment would also roll to the next month five working days prior to the end of the publishing month.

The proposed assessment would take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm London time each day, including firm bids and offers, trades and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process.

The M3 assessment would be published alongside existing European styrene assessments on Core, in Europe & Americas Petrochemicalscan, and on Petrochemical Alert fixed pages PCA0376, PCA0432 and PCA0338.
