Platts launches daily polypropylene raffia FOB China assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched a new daily polypropylene raffia grade FOB China assessment, effective Feb. 2, 2026, in view of additional capacities and growing export volumes from China.

Details of the proposed assessment are as follows:

Basis LocationEast China major ports, including but not limited to Shanghai and Ningbo
Cargo size100-500 mt
Credit termsL/C 30 days
Quality specificationsRaffia, MFR 2.5-4

The proposed assessment will be published daily and based on the latest market information up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). It will be published in $/metric ton and follow the Singapore publishing schedule.
